A common and useful security tactic "Obfuscation" is often suggested in most scripts installation instructions. Both the disallowing of the username "admin" and the changing of the default admin directory to something different (often admin). THis could be as simple as checking a box (in admin) to force two random characters to be added to a username of "Admin" and doing the same for the admin directory.

Hi,

You can choose random username as default for admin username for your users from Softaculous Admin panel -> Settings "Generate Random Username for users". This will suggest a random username to your users.

And regarding the Admin folder we do allow users to change the admin directory from the install form for the scripts which support this. Currently it is available in the following scripts :
WHMCS, PrestaShop, AbanteCart, AlegroCart, Commentics

I am really pleased that your company is so responsive to customer needs and requests for features. I like how you accomplished my request here. Appending the username  as an option is cleaver. It shows that you really are security conscious and do want to support your customers in making their servers and scripts more secure.

Thank you so much!
